Kamagra 100 mg is a medication containing sildenafil citrate, belonging to the class of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It helps men with erectile dysfunction (ED) by enhancing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal. It does not cause an erection on its own, but supports the body’s natural response when sexually stimulated.
Upon sexual arousal, nitric oxide is released in erectile tissue, increasing levels of cyclic GMP (cGMP), which leads to blood vessel relaxation. PDE5 normally breaks down cGMP, but sildenafil inhibits this enzyme—allowing increased blood flow and facilitating erection.
